John Ebling Lecture -

Each year the EHRS sponsors a lecture in memory of the late John Ebling, an internationally renowned zoologist.
Dr Ebling's hair research work was mainly devoted to understanding how hair growth and sebaceous gland activity is regulated, particularly the role of the endocrine system. As well as his interest in skin biology, he was also a marine biologist and a behavioural scientist.
